Senior🎓
Top SchoolLuis De Ybargüen is an experienced event director and community builder with 8 years leading tech conferences that unite developers, DevOps, product and design professionals across Spain. As head of Yay-Yay Events he programs and runs three niche international conferences—J On The Beach, Lambda World and Wey Wey Web—attracting 1,500+ annual attendees through curated talks, workshops and hands-on formats. He combines a background in marketing, fundraising and business development with deep practical experience in sponsorship acquisition, content curation and cross-functional team leadership. A serial founder and organizer, Luis has learned lean product validation the hard way—closing ventures like Power Bargain but applying those lessons to scale thriving developer communities. Based in Málaga, he pairs strategic event vision with grassroots community care, and is an amateur Pythonist who still gets involved in technical conversations.
