Senior🎓
Top SchoolLuis Montes is a Full Stack Developer with 10 years of hands-on experience building web applications, IoT platforms, and data-intensive systems across startups, government, and non-profit sectors. He has shipped production features using modern stacks like TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS Lambdas, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and S3-compatible storage while also driving infrastructure and DevOps work. Luis has a proven track record revitalizing legacy products through performance optimizations, automated testing, and analytics instrumentation, and he often bridges cross-application communication with secure, performant cloud functions. He pairs frontend polish (SVG/render optimizations, optimistic UI patterns) with backend rigor (testing, scalable data pipelines) and has contributed significant IoT functionality and community teaching at local labs. Based in Mesa, Arizona, he currently develops full stack solutions at OCEG and is comfortable moving between embedded systems and distributed cloud services. He’s also pragmatic about collaboration and documentation—having written internal tooling guides and product wikis while mentoring teams through delivery.
