Top SchoolLuis Vaz is a software engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable, distributed systems across fintech, automotive, blockchain, and high-traffic gaming platforms. Currently at CloudWalk and formerly at Stone and Localiza, he has driven migrations, event-driven architectures, and integrations using Elixir, Python, Go and .NET while working with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Grafana and observability tooling. He has hands-on experience prototyping Layer-2 blockchain scaling and maintaining compiler/tooling for smart-contract languages, bringing a systems-level perspective to performance and reliability trade-offs. Luis pairs backend and infra expertise—load mitigation, container orchestration, and Redis-backed scaling—with product-minded collaboration, mentoring new team members and aligning features with business needs. Based in Minas Gerais, Brazil, he also explores audio and music in public projects, a creative thread that informs his pragmatic approach to engineering and user experience.
