Senior🎓
Top SchoolLuiz Silveira is a Software Engineering Manager based in São Paulo with 15+ years in software engineering and 9 years in leadership, specializing in high-throughput payment flows and retail omnichannel systems. He currently leads multidisciplinary squads at Stone, owning Prepayment and Split domains with a focus on event-driven architectures, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience. Luiz blends hands-on architecture (.NET, Node.js, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, AWS) with strong SRE practices—SLIs/SLOs, distributed tracing, and zero-downtime release strategies—to reduce MTTR and drive business outcomes like advance revenue and correct merchant distribution. His background includes leading large SAP and ERP integrations, migrating legacy retail systems at scale, and delivering omnichannel features that materially improved conversion and fulfillment. Philosophically guided by KISS, TDD and SaaS principles, he pairs technical rigor with people leadership—hiring, coaching, and career development—to build autonomous, impact-driven teams. An MBA in SOA and a master’s focus on retail intelligence round out his ability to translate complex regulatory and financial requirements into auditable, production-ready systems.
