Senior🎓
Top SchoolLukáš Benka is a seasoned Python leader with nine years of experience building and leading engineering teams across product-driven companies, currently heading Python advocacy at Second Foundation from Brno. He blends hands-on backend expertise—microservices, Celery/Dramatiq, Redis/RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and GCP—with people leadership, having managed multiple teams and shaped development processes at Kiwi.com and Rossum. Comfortable both coding (often 60% time as a lead) and setting architecture and tech-debt strategies, he mentors engineers to grow while ensuring delivery alignment with product goals. A pragmatic tinkerer and traveler, he learns by teaching and brings an energetic, culture-aware approach to developer relations and technical enablement. An early QA-to-engineer path gives him a strong appreciation for quality, automation, and cross-functional collaboration that often surfaces in his leadership.
