Senior🎓
Top SchoolLukas Heiniger is a seasoned software and technology leader with 14 years of experience, currently Head of IT & Technology at the Swiss Seismological Service (SED) in Zurich. He blends hands-on software architecture and DevOps skills with domain expertise in geophysics, having led real-time hazard and risk forecasting projects and a grant-backed spin-off preparatory effort. A pragmatic founder of a mobile time-tracking startup and long-time contributor to open-source media tooling, he brings both entrepreneurial grit and production-grade engineering to collaborative, interdisciplinary teams. Known for rapid learning and a preference for digging deep rather than skimming the surface, he pairs scientific rigor from ETH Zurich with practical embedded and backend experience dating back to his apprenticeship and early telematics work.
