Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolLukas Vanagas is an Associate Software Engineer based in Copenhagen with nine years of hands-on experience building scalable web and cloud-native systems using PHP/Laravel, React/TypeScript, Docker/Kubernetes, and edge platforms like Cloudflare Workers. He focuses on readable, well-typed code, pragmatic testing, and long-term maintainability while pushing modern approaches such as AI integrations, low-latency APIs, and edge functions. Comfortable in Scandinavian, no-nonsense teams, he pairs an open-minded, social personality with an opinionated engineering style that values DRY, KISS, and performance-first design. Lukas blends practical DevOps experience across AWS and GCP with curiosity about ML tooling (Modal.com, vLLM, HuggingFace), and he deliberately steps out of his comfort zone for growth—making him a steady contributor who’s unlikely to job-hop.
