Senior🎓
Top SchoolLuke Prescott is a Senior Software Engineer with 10 years of experience building full-stack, production-grade systems and leading teams at an Inc. 5000 company. He combines a strong applied mathematics background with pragmatic software engineering—architecting APIs, cloud infrastructure, and real-time features while owning reliability, monitoring, and incident response. Luke moves between front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and back-end stacks (Node, Python, Java), drives evidence-based process improvements, and prototypes new technologies rapidly to de-risk adoption. A hands-on mentor and cross-functional leader, he has shipped Elasticsearch search, GraphQL/permission layers, and websocket notification systems, and advocates testable microservice architectures with high coverage. Based in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, he’s equally at home translating mathematical ideas into visualizations and production software, and he publishes projects and demos on GitHub for anyone curious about the details.
