Senior🎓
Top SchoolMadalin Oprea is a seasoned back-end developer with 15 years of experience building high-traffic eCommerce, CMS, and eLearning platforms and two years specializing in Python serverless APIs on AWS Lambda and API Gateway. AWS Certified as both Developer and Solutions Architect, he designs and automates resilient cloud architectures—ETL pipelines, event-driven integrations, and infra-as-code—while continuously deploying via CI pipelines. He has held senior engineering roles at fintech and payments firms (Qonto, GoCardless) and co-founded a consultancy where he implemented production-grade streaming, Redshift synchronisation, and Elasticsearch faceted search. Comfortable across Ruby on Rails, Magento, Java, and Python, he pairs deep platform knowledge with a pragmatic focus on reliability and observability. A math-and-CS graduate based in Brașov, he also quietly publishes tooling and Magento extensions that reflect a long-standing interest in performance and developer ergonomics.
