Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMarcelo Soares is a seasoned engineering leader with 10 years of experience building scalable data and AI systems, currently developing the next-generation server framework for Flutter at Serverpod. He has led large, cross-functional teams—managing up to 23 engineers—and architected platforms that handle tens of billions of IoT rows and thousands of ML models. Marcelo combines hands-on systems work (pgvector integration, UUID primary key support, cloud refactors from Python/Databricks to Go) with product-focused platform design, enabling fast experimentation via Langflow/Langfuse and a declarative, cost-efficient execution engine. His background spans end-to-end ML/MLops, big data engineering, and embedded/hardware roots from UFRJ, giving him a pragmatic blend of low-level systems thinking and high-level platform strategy. Notably, he has driven cultural and career-path changes to align teams for AI adoption while centralizing deployment knowledge into CLIs to democratize operations.
