Software Engineer
Garner, North Carolina, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorMarcos Castellanos is a versatile software engineer with 12 years of experience building full-stack web applications, services, and databases across C#, T-SQL/SQL Server, Vertica, and modern front-end stacks. Currently at Simpli.fi, he brings a practical blend of backend systems work and UI-facing development honed during multi-year roles at Bidtellect and Cendyn where he also authored and published open-source libraries. He’s comfortable owning projects end-to-end—from browser to database—and has led solo development efforts that demanded design, debugging, and deployment discipline. Based in Garner, NC, Marcos pairs steady production experience with a creative side: he’s a musician by night and a weekend photographer, which informs a thoughtful, user-centric approach to software.
