Top SchoolMarios Karagiannopoulos is a seasoned software engineering leader with 11+ years delivering cloud-native, telecom and fintech systems at companies like Juniper, Citrix, Ericsson and Nokia, blending hands-on development with CTO-level strategy. He has built and led multidisciplinary teams, designed Kubernetes-as-a-Service platforms, and drove Continuous Testing and CI/CD transformations that scaled 5G ORAN QA and high-frequency trading systems. As a founder and fractional CTO he architected resilient, event-driven AI and IoT backends on AWS/GCP using Terraform, Keycloak and RAG pipelines, cutting deployment times and speeding feature delivery. He’s an advocate for AI-assisted engineering—integrating GitHub Copilot and LLM-driven lab access to boost team productivity and autonomy. A prolific documenter and mentor, he authored most QA knowledge bases at Juniper and has guided GSoC and IFTP mentees, showing a commitment to growing engineering talent. Based in Patras, Greece, he pairs deep low-level systems experience (C/C++, telecom stacks) with modern cloud/DevOps practice, making him effective across legacy and cutting-edge platforms.
