Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarkus Zimmermann is a founder and seasoned product and technology leader with 11+ years of experience helping startups untangle product, technology, and operational complexity at critical inflection points. He has led product organisations through hyper-growth and built cross-functional teams and automation platforms for companies like Bolt and Starship, launching new robot-driven service lines and enterprise partnerships with major retailers and hospitality groups. Technically grounded from a Computer Science MSc and a research background in human–machine interaction and robotics, he blends hands-on engineering judgement with business-driven outcome focus. Markus moves from strategy to execution and exits engagements once teams, structures, and decision-making are self-sustaining. He also runs Manatee Academy, a boutique sailing school, reflecting a preference for immersive, experiential learning and deliberate disconnection from noise. Based in the Greater Hamburg Area, he pairs academic rigor (TU Munich) with product instincts honed in real-world robotics and platform scaling.
