Top SchoolMartin Richard is a data engineer with 11 years of experience who leverages a physics degree and research pedigree to design robust data pipelines across finance, healthcare claims, edtech, and clean energy. Currently at REsurety, he blends domain knowledge of weather, power markets, and financial modeling with hands-on Spark, Databricks, and AWS work to deliver analytics that inform high-stakes decisions. He has a track record of building distributed ETL, enriching complex spatiotemporal datasets (including PostGIS-backed joins), and automating detection systems that produced measurable cost savings. Comfortable interfacing directly with users, he translates ambiguous requirements into auditable, production-ready systems using Python, SQL, and cloud-native tooling. Notably, his academic work extended quantum simulation to 22 qubits using sparse matrices—an indicator of his ability to tackle large-scale computational problems and optimize for resource constraints.
