Senior🎓
Top SchoolMateusz Korszun is an engineering manager based in Berlin with 13 years of hands-on experience building and operating distributed, high-throughput systems across media intelligence, cloud platforms, and fintech. He progressed from low-level telecom and Erlang systems to leading teams at Meltwater, where he designed premium content ingestion pipelines using Java, Kafka, and cloud-native tooling while still being on-call for critical API operations. Comfortable across languages and stacks—Elixir, Java, Scala, Erlang, Ruby, Node.js—he blends deep backend and DevOps know-how with product-minded architecture and team leadership. As a former CTO and frequent technical lead, he has repeatedly taken products from prototype to production, owning infrastructure, monitoring and release processes. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic problem-solver who pairs systems-level thinking with a developer’s attention to reliability and operability.
