Top SchoolMathieu Bossaert is a geomatician and information systems manager with 20+ years bridging ecology and open-source geospatial technologies from Montpellier. As Responsable du Système d'Information at the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels d'Occitanie and independent ODK trainer, he designs field-ready data collection forms, ingests and shapes data in PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and visualizes results in QGIS. He prefers integrating proven libre solutions (ODK, QGIS, PostGIS, Lizmap, Redash, JasperStudio) over bespoke development to deliver practical tools for conservation teams. Trained in population ecology and applied IT, he combines domain science with systems engineering to make field workflows robust and reproducible. A hands-on problem solver rooted in a farming family, he also contributes to the geospatial community as treasurer of Georezo Forgeron and brings a runner’s persistence to long projects.
