Top SchoolMatt Mcquillan is a seasoned engineering leader with 11+ years building and scaling cloud-native infrastructure, currently directing the Nomad product organization. He has deep hands-on SRE and platform experience from managing Terraform Cloud and architecting internal platform services to leading Nomad’s product roadmap and doubling ARR. Matt combines technical breadth—from release engineering, multicloud operations, and deployment automation to programmatic customer diagnostics—with a proven track record of growing teams and hiring managers. His practical love of Go and background at HashiCorp inform a pragmatic, systems-first approach to distributed orchestration and reliability. Based in Carmel, Indiana, he brings a mathematician’s mindset to complex systems design and a knack for turning ad hoc cloud operations into formalized, repeatable processes. Colleagues know him for shipping high-impact production tooling (including a Nomad-based deploy bot used for thousands of deploys) while keeping customer escalations and large-scale incidents resolvable.
