Summary
👤
SeniorMatt Miller is a senior software engineer and engineering leader in New York with over a decade of experience building and scaling web APIs and backend systems across startups, nonprofits, and large enterprises like Bloomberg. He has led API teams to productionize gateway infrastructure, scale traffic 200% year-over-year, and reduce maintenance overhead by introducing self-service tooling and operational best practices. Hands-on across the full stack, he authored a Flask-based rapid API framework, implemented MiFID II reporting, and added WebSocket support for flagship client integrations. Known for mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional initiatives—procurement, legal, and CTO-level coordination—he combines product-focused delivery with strong operational discipline. He prefers roles outside of the crypto space and brings a pragmatic bias for shipping reliable, client-facing systems.
