Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatthijs Bijman is an ML Compiler Engineer with 11 years of software experience, currently working at Annapurna Labs after a two-year SDE stint at AWS. Trained at Delft University of Technology (BSc and MSc in Computer Science), he focuses on compilers, virtual machines, and programming language design—previously implementing language and compiler features for the Green-Marl graph analysis DSL at Oracle. He blends research-oriented language design with production-grade engineering, shipping systems that bridge theory and large-scale deployment. Based in Seattle, he brings deep compiler internals knowledge to ML workloads and low-level runtime problems. Colleagues value his practical curiosity: he pairs academic rigor with hands-on systems-building rather than staying purely theoretical.
