Top SchoolMattias Sjödin is a pragmatic data and software engineer with about four years of experience building production data systems across energy and audio tech, currently contributing as Member of Technical Staff at Lovable. He progressed from research-driven roles—developing nonlinear optimization scripts and electrochemical analysis during a Scania master thesis—to hands-on data engineering at Northvolt and Epidemic Sound, blending scientific rigor with scalable engineering. Comfortable with end-to-end data workflows, he has a background in materials science (MSc, Uppsala University) that informs a methodical, measurement-focused approach to problems. Colleagues know him for clear communication and teaching experience, having honed presentation and leadership skills as a propaedeutic mathematics teacher. Based in Uppsala, Sweden, he pairs curiosity about physical systems with pragmatic software delivery—and, notably, has a soft spot for ducks.
