Senior🎓
Top SchoolMauricio Piacentini is a seasoned technology leader and CTO with 19 years of experience building scalable game and educational software, currently leading architecture and backend teams that serve millions of users in Brazil. He combines deep engineering practice—open source leadership in KDE and C++/multimedia work for MeeGo—with academic research in digital technologies and cognition (PUC-SP). Unusually for a tech executive, Mauricio also trained as a medical doctor with postgraduate specialization in autism spectrum disorder and psychiatry, informing a unique focus on AI, cognition, and education. A long-time open source activist, he has maintained multiple KDE games and edu applications while steering product roadmaps and reliable platform deployments at 2Mundos.
