Senior🎓
Top SchoolMauricio Zaffari is a Lead Software Engineer with 16 years of experience specializing in Ruby on Rails since 2008 and a proven full-stack fluency that includes Vue.js, React, Angular and legacy jQuery migrations. He combines hands-on application modernization—upgrading monoliths, trimming technical debt (deleted 74% of legacy code at Kinscape) and raising test coverage to ~90%—with practical DevOps experience using CircleCI, Semaphore, GitHub Actions and deployments on Heroku, DigitalOcean and AWS. Mauricio excels at performance optimization, routinely cutting page load times from seconds to sub-second, and shifting frontends to API-driven architectures. Based in Paraná, Brazil, he leads teams at Looper Insights while retaining a mentor mindset from long-term coaching and contractor roles, making him comfortable in both product-focused startups and client-driven projects. An engineer who prefers shipping measurable impact, he often balances deep backend refactors with crisp, modern front-end rewrites.
