Senior🎓
Top SchoolMaxwell Nelson is a pragmatic full-stack software engineer with nine years of experience building production web and mobile experiences, specializing in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and design systems. He has driven measurable business impact—doubling student conversions with a MERN enrollment app—and helped scale front-end consistency and performance as a design-system specialist at Progressive Leasing. Comfortable collaborating across product, UX, QA, and engineering, he brings a test-driven mentality and regular participation in code reviews and hiring. Maxwell pairs component-level polish (animations, accessibility, CSS architecture like BEM/Grid/Flexbox) with backend experience in Mongo, Express, Java, and Elasticsearch, and has recently explored iOS development. He’s seeking a long-term role where he can be an essential team player and continue shipping reliable, well-tested interfaces.
