🤩
RockstarMegan Slater is a Principal Software Engineer in Seattle with 11 years of experience building scalable web and AI-driven systems, currently shaping AI agent capabilities and knowledge discovery in Microsoft Viva Engage. A JavaScript-focused web generalist who moved from full-stack consulting to enterprise AI, she blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership—recently leading a team that drove customer co-innovation, earned three patents, and won an internal hackathon. Megan has a track record of migrating prototypes to microservice architectures, integrating cloud services, and adapting AI platforms to on-prem GPU clusters, bringing pragmatic solutions to complex production constraints. She mentors bootcamp graduates and colleagues, pairing clear communication and product-focus with deep technical craft. An eclectic background—from music performance to compliance—gives her an uncommon mix of creativity, operational rigor, and user-centered thinking.
