Top SchoolMichael Baker is a pragmatic front-end-focused software engineer with six years of experience building production web apps, internal analytics tools, and secure data-transfer solutions. He combines strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React expertise with practical DevOps skills (Docker, CI/CD, Firebase) to ship user-friendly interfaces and automate business workflows that drive measurable outcomes. At CRC Oncology he delivered an Azure-based, FDA-conscious patient data transfer solution under a two-week timeline and trained non-technical clients end-to-end, while at InSpa he translated transaction data into executive analytics and deployed customer kiosks that improved revenue. A self-taught tinkerer who maintains open-source projects like Scootloops and mobile tooling, he’s equally comfortable mentoring users and integrating AI assistants to turn product questions into actionable insights.
