Top SchoolMichael Donnelly is a Director of Solutions Architecture with 12 years of experience driving observability and IT operations analytics at scale, currently leading SE efforts at Cribl while also founding a neighborhood ISP that delivers broadband far faster than DSL. His background spans deep Splunk expertise—shaping ITOA strategy and helping customers reduce MTTR through service-oriented monitoring—and hands-on systems work dating back to roles at Sendmail and Pixar. He combines strategic leadership with practical engineering: designing infrastructures, integrating directories, and using his own products (Cribl LogStream and Splunk) to run and monitor real-world networks. Based on Bainbridge Island, he blends enterprise-scale architecture with entrepreneurial grit and a penchant for applying enterprise tooling to solve local connectivity challenges.
