Top SchoolMichael Gale is a Senior Front-End Developer based in Melbourne with 11 years of professional experience and over 15 years tinkering with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. He combines agency and in-house experience—currently at Victoria University and running his own web studio—delivering custom WordPress themes, JAMstack sites, Nuxt/Vue apps, PWAs and e-commerce builds. Comfortable across the stack, he pairs front-end craft (accessibility, animation and performance) with back-end integrations, DevOps and legacy API upkeep from past full‑stack roles at the National Gallery of Victoria. A trained educator and musician, he brings clear communication, teaching experience and a creative sensibility to UX and animation work. Known locally as a “front-end specialist with a beard and glasses,” he’s also a WP Engine agency partner who quietly blends practical engineering with a hands-on maker’s curiosity.
