👤
SeniorMichael Huang is a versatile software engineer with a decade of hands-on experience building cloud-native microservices, web apps, and ML-driven systems, grounded in a double major in Computer Science and Economics from UC Berkeley. He has shipped production features across VMware and Commure, and previously built vehicle simulation and automated testing tooling for Porsche Digital, blending backend services in Java/Python/Node.js with front-end and iOS work. Passionate about AI and generative models, he has led ML projects at UC Berkeley’s Launchpad and implemented compact generative environments for reinforcement learning, demonstrating both research aptitude and product focus. Michael also combines game development experience—shipping a Unity title on Steam—with performance engineering expertise, giving him a pragmatic appreciation for optimization and real-world constraints. Known for strong communication and cross-team collaboration, he thrives at the intersection of systems engineering, data-driven modeling, and user-facing product delivery.
