Top SchoolMichael Todd is an Avionics Staff Embedded Software Engineer with eight years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver avionics and navigation software for platforms like the Black Hawk and Combat Rescue Helicopter. He combines hands-on embedded systems expertise (VxWorks, Ada/C, ARINC 429/1553, DO-178B) with program leadership—acting as Scrum Master/Product Owner, proposal author, and customer liaison on multi-million-dollar projects. Equally comfortable collaborating with creatives and engineers, he previously led technical solutions for live entertainment and interactive art installations, bringing an unconventional blend of technical rigor and production-focused adaptability. A Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute computer science graduate based in Connecticut, he excels at translating complex navigation and integration challenges into practical, auditable solutions.
