Mike Kelly
WA State Co-Cordinator
Bainbridge Island, Washington, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorMike Kelly is a seasoned software leader and founder with three decades of experience spanning development, program management, and technical due diligence. After rising to Microsoft Partner and leading Engineering Excellence work on product quality and distributed development, he founded Tech DNA to advise buyers and investors on the technical health of acquisitions. He combines hands-on engineering background with a practiced eye for codebase evaluation, process innovation, and integration risk—skills honed across product teams and internal research roles. Based on Bainbridge Island, he now balances semi-retirement with volunteer leadership as Washington State Co-Coordinator for Citizens' Climate Lobby, applying organizational and advocacy skills to climate policy. Mike’s uncommon blend of deep technical credibility, consulting discipline, and public-facing communication makes him a go-to expert for assessing technology value and execution risk.
