He has architected and led delivery of high-impact platforms—from the $1B NCAA March Madness streaming system to Carvana’s nationwide logistics app and a generative-AI travel itinerary prototype—combining hands-on Android development (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) with backend services in Python and JS. As a Google Developer Expert and mentor, he blends technical leadership, design-system thinking, and product management to guide cross-functional and remote teams toward measurable business outcomes. Mike’s work frequently emphasizes scalable, maintainable architectures (GraphQL, unidirectional data flow, KMM proofs-of-concept) and pragmatic AI integrations that enhance personalization. He’s an active open-source advocate and educator, producing Android demos and instructional content while coaching others through career transitions. Based in Phoenix, he pairs deep engineering craft with a user-first mindset and a knack for translating research into delightful, production-ready experiences.
