Senior🎓
Top SchoolMikel De Hijas is a web developer based in Madrid with eight years of experience building front- and back-end solutions across sectors including banking, logistics, and digital marketing. He currently contributes to Hiberus while also working as a front-end developer at Making Science, blending modern JavaScript stacks (Vue, Node, TypeScript) with backend experience in Symfony and Spring Boot. Mikel has rotated between enterprise clients and consultancy environments (Capgemini, Devoteam, Atos), which has given him a pragmatic approach to integrating legacy systems and templating engines like Twig. His technical foundation is supported by dual higher education qualifications in web and multiplatform application development, and he brings a practical focus on shipping maintainable UI and server code. Notably, he moves comfortably between template-driven PHP/Symfony work and contemporary TypeScript front ends, making him effective at bridging frontend UX needs with backend constraints.
