Summary
🤩
RockstarMikhail Gerasimchuk is a Tech Lead with 10 years of experience building and hardening high-load backend systems, currently improving a Golang codebase, CI/CD, observability and AWS Kubernetes infrastructure for ShelterZoom’s DocuWalk product. He has strong hands-on expertise in Go, microservices, Prometheus/Grafana monitoring, and database performance tuning from roles at Pushwoosh and earlier PHP/Java/C# projects that spanned anything from 500 RPS to over 100K RPS cluster loads. Comfortable across the stack, he blends clean-architecture advocacy with pragmatic optimizations like query and index tuning after stress testing. He also pursues side projects—teamcoding.ru and the GitHub space-trouble repo—that showcase his passion for clean code and infrastructure tooling. Notably, he cleared a full AWS Shield interview loop and navigated a complex international hiring/immigration process, reflecting resilience and strong cross-organizational communication. Based in Texas (originally Kazakhstan), he brings a mix of systems-thinking and delivery focus to engineering leadership.
