Top SchoolMiroslav Bursa is a Senior Java Developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience building cloud-native, multitenant voice and text chat platforms and enterprise systems. He combines full-stack and DevOps skills—Java, Python, BASH, Docker, MongoDB and AWS—with applied NLP for entity and intent detection to move research prototypes into production. His background includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Biocybernetics and research roles on EU projects (FP7, H2020) where he worked on ontology design and industry standards such as OPC UA 62541. At Deutsche Börse he focuses on resilient, scalable backend services while also running a long-standing SME for translation and IT consulting. Comfortable across Linux administration, containers, SQL/NoSQL and distributed computing, he bridges academic rigour and pragmatic engineering. Outside work he balances technical curiosity with diverse hobbies—from snowkiting and frisbee to Czech sign language and IoT tinkering—bringing a broad perspective to problem solving.
