Top SchoolMitchell Mcdermott is a product-minded project manager and audio technologist with 11 years of experience building interactive musical systems, accessible instruments, and benefits software. Trained at Berklee and with an MSc in Sound and Music Computing from Queen Mary, he blends DSP, real-time systems, and UX to prototype AI-driven musical experiences, spectral effects, and Bela-powered hardware. He’s shipped generative audio pipelines and DSP instruments for clients like BT and contributed research-grade experiments at Imperial College showing spatial audio-haptic feedback improves human-robot synchronization. At Common Good Technologies he translates complex policy into implementable requirements, improving data integrity across legacy benefits systems while bridging legal, technical, and operational teams. An unexpected strength is his cross-domain fluency—moving seamlessly between hands-on C++, Max/MSP, MATLAB and product coordination—which lets him democratize creative tools without losing sight of engineering rigor.
