Senior🎓
Top SchoolMoonkyu Song is a Lead Software Engineer with over 8 years focused on blockchain core development and a long pedigree in embedded graphics and platform engineering. He currently architects and implements blockchain core components in Go, drawing on deep systems experience from a 17-year tenure at Alticast where he built accelerated 2D/OpenGL UI engines, BD-J JVM platforms, and robust build systems in C/C++ and Python. Comfortable across Golang, C/C++, Java and scripting languages, he bridges low-level performance work with higher-level cloud UI and tooling. His background from POSTECH and hands-on ownership of compositors, JVM management, and GNU make-based build environments reveals a practitioner who moves fluidly between performance-critical embedded systems and modern blockchain infrastructure. Notably, he combines protocol-level blockchain engineering with decades of real-world device and media-platform experience, making him adept at productionizing complex distributed and embedded software.
