Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNicolas Desmedt is a full-stack software engineer with nine years of experience, currently building onchain consumer finance at Phantom after a string of senior and founding engineering roles. He co-founded Conveo.ai, one of only two Belgian startups to join Y Combinator S24, applying AI-driven video interviews to market research and demonstrating strong product-to-market instincts. Comfortable shipping fast while maintaining quality, Nicolas thrives in uncertainty and repeatedly takes ownership from founding CTO to senior engineer across startups and scale-ups. His background blends software engineering and AI from KU Leuven with hands-on product and business development experience, giving him a rare mix of technical depth and commercial sensibility. Based in New York on an O1-A visa, he’s a techno-optimist who invests heavily in relationships and continual growth, often finding opportunity by talking to strangers and listening closely.
