Top SchoolNicoleta Ungur is a VP of Engineering and founder with 8 years of hands-on experience building full-stack web and mobile products, currently leading engineering at MAJR while running her own startup Snoter Tech. She specializes in JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems—React, React Native, Node.js and NestJS—delivering scalable products for startups and enterprise clients including DataCamp and the World Bank. Comfortable across frontend, backend and cloud (Postgres, MongoDB, AWS), she blends product-minded engineering with an entrepreneurial streak demonstrated by founding multiple projects and shipping MVPs to production. Based in Cluj-Napoca and exclusively open to remote roles, she emphasizes pragmatic, sustainable engineering summed up by her motto “Good life with better software.” An unexpected detail: alongside leadership duties she still keeps a developer’s toolkit sharp by freelancing and taking associate engineering roles to stay close to code and emerging stack trends.
