Top SchoolNikolay Pomytkin is a product-minded software engineer with over a decade of experience building full-stack and AI-enabled web applications, currently focused on consumer wellness and stealth AI projects in New York. He holds dual degrees in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Maryland and has shipped cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD tooling at Capital One, plus modernized construction management software at Clad. As a former co-founder and CTO, he led a team to build an intelligent medical assistant (clarissa.ai) and implemented production deployments with Docker, GitHub Actions, and AWS. Nikolay blends teaching and leadership—serving as a head TA and course instructor while directing sponsorship for the region’s largest college hackathon—demonstrating an unusual mix of product, pedagogy, and fundraising skills. He’s curious about distributed systems and cloud-native design, pairing machine-learning research experience in image compression with practical DevOps and backend work.
