Top SchoolOlaoye Somide is a founder and AI entrepreneur with a decade of experience building data-driven systems and geospatial intelligence across the UN, humanitarian programs, and startups. As Founding Partner & CEO of CipherSense AI and founder of DataLens Africa, he designs hyperlocal, responsible AI and human-in-the-loop data pipelines that tackle Africa’s representation gap—turning satellite, voice, text and ground-truth data into practical products for agriculture, finance and healthcare. His trajectory spans hands-on engineering roles (GIS and backend data engineering) to CTO and product leadership, giving him rare fluency across data infrastructure, model training, and applied ML agents. He has repeatedly translated field realities into scalable solutions—CropSense’s satellite+ground fusion and YieldRank’s context-aware credit scoring are examples of that applied focus. Based in Lagos, he pairs technical depth (MSc in AI) with entrepreneurship training, and a persistent mission to make AI locally relevant and globally influential.
