Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolOlivier Poncet is a seasoned technology leader and CTO based in Paris with nearly three decades of experience delivering and managing complex software and infrastructure projects, and 19 years in senior technical roles. He blends deep hands-on expertise in C/C++, Unix/Linux and system architecture with strategic leadership across startups and consultancies, most recently leading technical strategy at ARNEO_ after CTO roles at Hawkswell and Suricats Consulting. A self-described "software craftsman," he pairs practical engineering discipline with advocacy for free and open-source software, Linux and BSD ecosystems, and brings that perspective into teaching as a vacataire at CY Tech. Colleagues know him for turning low-level, robust systems thinking into product-ready platforms and for quietly sharing tools and insights through recreational coding and open-source contributions.
