Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolOliwier Ptak is a seasoned Full Stack Developer based in Berlin with over two decades of hands-on software experience and 13 years in professional engineering roles, delivering e-commerce platforms, CMS, back-office systems and data analysis tools. He excels at managing large, modular codebases and designing semantically versioned architectures across microservices, packages and monoliths, with deep practice in PHP, TypeScript/JavaScript, relational and NoSQL databases, and containerized deployments. A strong advocate of engineering discipline, he brings expertise in static analysis, clean code, TDD, CI/CD and trunk-based development, and has implemented testing and documentation practices across teams at companies like Productsup and Spryker. He combines systems-level thinking (SOLID principles, package design, design patterns) with pragmatic product delivery, having built high-throughput back-office and analytics systems earlier in his career. Not obvious from titles alone: his background spans graphic design and product-focused tooling since the late 1990s, which informs a practical UX-aware approach to developer-facing and customer-facing systems. Currently at QConnex, he continues to bridge architecture and execution, mentoring teams while remaining a hands-on contributor.
