Top SchoolOlly Warner is a hardware and audio electronics specialist with eight years’ experience building and running Fretronics Engineering, a Glasgow-based design, manufacturing and warranty service centre for the professional audio sector. With an M.Eng. in Electronics & Electrical Engineering with Music from the University of Glasgow, he combines formal engineering training with hands-on product development, consultancy and custom solutions for artists, studios and venues. Olly has steered projects from bespoke repairs to product launches and has run a parallel hardware-design outfit, Otago Engineering, bringing manufacturing discipline to bespoke audio electronics. Early roles building image-formation algorithms and teaching labs hint at a rounded technical background that spans signal processing, practical electronics and client-facing service delivery. He’s known for translating creative audio requirements into manufacturable, serviceable hardware rather than treating sound as purely software or DSP work.
