Top SchoolOluwaseun Obajobi is a Director of Engineering focused on infrastructure with 12 years of experience designing and operating cloud-native, containerized systems and automation at scale. He has led large reliability and platform initiatives across the Middle East region, including a near-zero-downtime migration of a monolith to cloud and building SRE enablement, chaos engineering, and incident-response programs for high-traffic consumer platforms. Currently directing infrastructure at Careem after steering SRE and developer-experience efforts at Talabat and Delivery Hero, he blends hands-on systems expertise with team and process-level resilience work. Known for valuing simplicity over complexity, he translates ambitious reliability goals into pragmatic, automated solutions that reduce toil and improve uptime. Based in Dubai, he pairs a Master’s in IT Management with a background in Unix/Linux administration and architecture, giving him a rare mix of deep operational craft and strategic leadership.
