Omotayo Madein is a software engineer and technical designer with ~9–10 years crafting full-stack web systems and immersive mixed/extended reality experiences using Unity, C#, WebXR and Babylon.js. At Microsoft Mesh she led SDK tutorials, prototypes and developer outreach—authoring Mesh 101/201 samples, integrating OpenAI assistants, and contributing to MRTK and Babylon.js UI material work that improved 3D controls. She combines hands-on engineering, devops and UX research from roles at Pluto TV and Andela to mentor teams, run workshops, and shepherd release pipelines and documentation. Now pursuing a PhD in Human–Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon, she marries academic rigor with product-focused delivery to make complex spatial tech usable for real people. Outside work she’s an early AR/VR tinkerer and sci‑fi fan whose community-focused projects include teaching and inclusive learning content for developers in Lagos.
