Software Engineer
Silicon Valley, Spain
Summary
👤
SeniorÓscar Vivó is a Mobile Engineer with eight years focused on native Apple-platform development and a strong emphasis on UI design and long-lived architecture. He has driven feature development and engineering best practices across firms from Apple to startups, including leading macOS Messages work and building complex iOS features like custom AV-based video recorders and undo/redo sync for editors. At Verily he implemented reliable cross-platform analytics and championed data-driven, maintainable mobile stacks; at Tome he rearchitected a viewer into a synchronized editor while improving test coverage. Now based in San Jose, he blends deep platform knowledge with a product-minded approach to make teams more effective and code more durable. Colleagues know him for teaching by example and for preferring pragmatic foundations that scale beyond initial launches. His long-term Apple-platform focus and history of shipping both consumer and infrastructure-facing features make him a go-to engineer for robust native apps.
