Senior🎓
Top SchoolPablo Castilla is a pragmatic Director of Software Engineering with 11 years of experience architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems, big data platforms, and AI-powered products across Azure and AWS. He combines deep .NET expertise (20+ years) with hands-on work in Python, LangChain/OpenAI projects, and production ML/vision systems, frequently moving proofs-of-concept into robust, event-driven architectures. Pablo has led mission-critical deployments—from an 11-million-meter AMI at Iberdrola to serverless AI-enabled energy and elderly-care platforms—and is comfortable designing both fast MVPs and high-quality, maintainable solutions. He blends technical leadership with mentorship, actively growing junior engineers’ conceptual and practical skills. Notably, he has implemented bespoke frameworks (e.g., saga patterns for Azure Functions) and bridges cloud, IoT and edge designs using actors and streaming for resilient performance. Based in Seville, Spain, he’s equally at home optimizing database performance for billions of records as prototyping vision and generative-AI features for enterprise adoption.
