Top SchoolPablo Chacin is a seasoned senior software engineer and tech leader with over 30 years of hands-on experience spanning mainframes, IoT, SRE and cloud-native systems, currently building distributed workflow features for Diagrid's managed dapr offering. He combines deep technical craftsmanship—from embedded sensor firmware to Kubernetes automation and serverless CI/CD—with product-minded ownership, having led chaos testing capabilities at Grafana Labs and reliability practices at Bird and Ocado. As a former CTO he delivered end-to-end IoT traffic management solutions and has repeatedly translated organizational needs into practical engineering roadmaps. He mentors senior engineers, maintains open-source projects, and has a track record of reducing operational friction through tooling that speeds debugging and environment provisioning. Pablo pairs a PhD in Computer Science with an MBA, enabling him to bridge rigorous research, business strategy and pragmatic delivery. Colleagues rely on him for calm leadership in complex cross-functional initiatives and for turning reliability objectives into measurable engineering outcomes.
