Top SchoolPatrick Covaci is an undergraduate teaching assistant and systems-focused software engineer from Bucharest with eight years of hands-on experience in embedded C/C++, Go backend development, and GNU/Linux/BSD administration. He blends systems programming, network engineering (AS215454), and cybersecurity practices to design robust, production-ready solutions and manage course infrastructure for OS labs. A proven competitor in national Olympiads and technical contests, he brings a problem-solving mindset and a track record of delivering quality under pressure. Patrick is comfortable across low-level firmware, server-side services, and network architecture, and stays current with industry trends to adapt solutions to diverse environments. Notably, he pairs classroom mentorship with operational responsibilities—introducing freshmen to Linux while advising on best practices and infrastructure improvements. His mix of academic engagement and real-world systems expertise makes him a pragmatic engineer who bridges teaching, tooling, and secure operations.
