Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
Summary
👤
SeniorPatrick Höfer is a founder and senior software engineer with 11 years of experience transforming legacy systems and building scalable backend and DevOps solutions. His coding journey began during active duty as an airborne ranger, leading to a top-tier apprenticeship and progressive roles at startups and scale-ups including ProMaterial, sipgate, and ASC Automotive where he served as Modernisation & Solution Architect. Comfortable switching hats—engineer, architect, and entrepreneur—he co-founded a freelance consultancy and now runs Airburst Studios while keeping a playful "Joker of Many" approach to tech. A stint as a lumberjack in Australia hints at his appetite for hands-on, unconventional problem solving and resilience under pressure. Based in Cologne, he combines practical field experience with a track record of guiding legacy modernisation and delivery in cross-functional teams.
